The connection with the territory is strong and takes concrete shape in the production of wines from traditional vines; the attention to wines from vines closer to the international taste is a more recent development. The quality of these wines originates in our vineyards, where we use cultivation techniques that include choosing the rootstocks most suited to the type of soil, highly prized varietal clones, an elevated intensity of plants per surface, short pruning, controlled grassing of the vineyard, bunch thinning, the use of technology and eco-compatible plant protection products and manual collection, to name the principal ones. These are all designed to strongly contain the quantitative yield to obtain the best possible grape quality. The work in the cellar is very gentle to best respect the integrity of the wine and to enhance its qualities in the final refining phase in small wooden barriques.
