TASTE OF KNOWLEDGE: for dinner at the art-hotel, the author of the recipes depicted In the exhibition of TABLES and with the get-togethers at the TABLE in his frame develops a path of syncretism between traditions and new experiences in the worlds of gastronomic culture, of the art of the table and of the conviviality proposed to interpret the theme of the YEAR OF ITALIAN FOOD. The protagonist of the events is the amalgam of beauty and goodness of the typical cuisine of the Alexandrian territories: rural areas of the plains, mountains and hills, among which the fields of the Fraschetta, the valleys on the Piedmont and Liguria Apennines and the Monferrato wetlands cultivated with rice and the Vineyard landscape area of the UNESCO serial site.
The exhibition TAVOLE A TAVOLA presents the collection of drawings by the artist CECILIA PRETE in the gallery of the art-hotel LOCANDA DELL'ARTE. Created with colored pencils, pointillism and watercolors to illustrate the recipes described in the gastronomic and historical volumes of the series of LUIGI BRUNI’s kitchen, published by Tortona’s publishing house VICOLO DEL PAVONE . The ROUND TABLES will take place on the occasion of the GOLOSARIA MONFERRATO enogastronomica event on Saturday 7th April.
ART AND CUISINE, "FEMININE" BINOMIAL: conversation initiated by the gallery owner MARIA PALUMBO SORMANI and by the artist CECILIA PRETE on the role traditionally and currently played by women in passing on values, knowledge and skills, the intangible cultural heritage that makes it possible to realize many artistic and handicraft productions, in particular the outstanding territorial cuisine which in 2018 is celebrated under the banner of THE YEAR OF ITALIAN FOOD.
from the tables on display, LUIGI BRUNI, in collaboration with the RESTAURANT OF CREA will cook a "special" menu from a selection of dishes of the Monferrato area and present them at the table involving the guests to taste the dishes, savoring the history and discovering the "secrets" of the goodness of the ingredients , the genuine agricultural and food production of the territory.
The initiative is realized by the art-hotel LOCANDA DELL'ARTE di Solonghello in collaboration with the publishing house VICOLO DEL PAVONE of Tortona and together with the association DIRE FARE DISEGNARE of Casale Monferrato and the MONFERRATO HOSPITALITY & HANDMADE team and supported with free sponsorships from the MUNICIPALITY OF SOLONGHELLO and from the ATL of the Province of Alessandria - ALEXALA.
