Biscottificio TreRossi is set up in Ovada in the early 1950s. It starts out as a small family-run business and quickly becomes well-known for the production of Biscotti Salute (Health Biscuits), light and crispy rusks which have become one of the typical products of Ovada.

It is precisely from this area and from the local tradition that Biscotti TreRossi has developed its pastry products over the years, basing itself on ancient and genuine recipes which merge the simplicity and knowledge of the traditional cultural. The Baci di Dama, rich in hazelnuts, the delicious Amaretti di Gavi, the Pandolce Vecchia Genoa, the Panuva and many other mouthwatering specialties are born. From the beginning, the factory has produced desserts using its sourdough starter, a precious ingredient which is handed down from generation to generation skillfully created by master bakers and makes the TreRossi biscuits
unique.

This starter is an essential ingredient for making the dough of the refined panettone cake and delicate colomba cake, baked each year for the Christmas and Easter holidays.

Today, TreRossi continues to remain faithful to its history and to the culture of its land, with commitment, dedication and passion, carefully selecting its ingredients, paying close attention to the needs of the modern consumer, increasingly aware of the importance of a healthy and balanced diet.
