Gavi, a land where man and vine are attached by a bond whose beginning is lost in the sands of time and whose end cannot be seen.

Piona is a historic location of Cortese di Gavi. It lies a short distance from the center of the village where peace and tranquility allow to enjoy a 360° view, immersed in nature between vines and broom in a particularly favorable position to the sunshine and see breezes.

The vines are grown respecting their natural rhythms, as nature already has all it needs to get the best out of its fruits.

The work in the vineyards is all done by hand: pruning, tying and particularly harvesting, where the grapes are collected by hand and placed into boxes ready to be brought to the cellar quickly to obtain a quality product.
Camilla and Silvana are the owners of Piona, in this area of Piedmont where the relationship with the vine has left its mark on popular culture. They have transformed their passion into a young, female winery and with a philosophy firmly rooted in the union between modernity and tradition.

The projects for this winery are many, but with patience, dedication and without haste all the goals will be achieved.

The attention to every detail, of the entire production process, from the vineyard to the bottle is curated by the producers, allowing them to see and listen to the changes that manifest themselves each day in the nature of the plant but also in the natural development of the wine.
