Eleazaro Rossi returns to the stage with Kamikaze, a ferocious and unfiltered comedy show. A merciless look at the world, combining existential satire and destructive irony. No topic is safe, not even himself. Laughter is guaranteed, but not without collateral damage.

To write Kamikaze, Eleazaro Rossi took a spiritual and train journey to Cividale del Friuli. There, a guest at the Albergo Cividale (3 stars, half board), he spent a few weeks staring into space, listening to the silence, and trying to understand whether the problem was him or the world. In the end, as often happens, the answer was: both.

Kamikaze is his eleventh comic monologue. One word isn't enough. Not even two. It's a show that can't be summarized, that doesn't want to be explained; in fact, it defies any attempt at promotion except this.

During the show, among other things, they talk about life, death, and the world.

Journalists who trash convention buffets as if they've just come back from thirty years of fasting and as if canapés were humanity's last chance for salvation. The same journalists who ask comedians questions as if they'd never spoken to a human being before ("Were you a bit of a naughty boy at school?").

Feelings of guilt, broken families, the inescapable trap of capitalism, and the secret wish that a heart attack could put an end to everything. Grandparents volunteering in front of schools. And, of course, things that can't be said here because theater still has a reputation to uphold.

Kamikaze isn't just a show. It's a statement. It's a gesture. It's a disaster waiting to happen. But it's very, very funny.
