UNA SANTA ESPERIENZA IN VAL BORMIDA - DENICE E CESSOLE/LOAZZOLO TRA LE PROVINCE DI ALESSANDRIA E ASTI
03 May - 20 September 2026

Denice. Church of San Lorenzo > SIGHT and HEARING
Denice, an open-air museum housing 60 ceramic works of art, has developed in a circular shape around the 12th-century tower overlooking the valley. But if there's one place to sharpen your SIGHT, it's the Church of San Lorenzo, with its devotional panels depicting almost all the saints associated with the senses in the Holy Experience—except for Saint Rocco (smell), Saint Agatha (touch), Saint Apollonia (taste), Saint Lucy (sight), and Saint Anthony the Abbot (hearing), who invites you to listen to the dedicated episode in the Bormida Gotica podcast.
Cessole. Wild Wellness Experience > TOUCH
Famous for its majestic two-story church, Cessole offers the opportunity to enjoy a Wild Wellness Experience at an organic farm. A guided wellness program with a sauna, whirlpool, bio-lake, and relaxation area for an immersive experience, full skin contact with pristine nature [TOUCH].
Cessole. Antica Erboristeria > SMELL
Founded in the early 1940s by Teodoro Negro, the Antica Erboristeria maintains its original atmosphere and furnishings, including test tubes, stills, and scales. Passed down from generation to generation with the same care and knowledge of the properties of plants and their uses, simply open the door and you're greeted by the intense aroma of medicinal herbs [SMELL].
Loazzolo. A delicious vineyard > TASTE
Loazzolo, 4 km from Cessole, is famous for its small DOC that gave its name to the late-harvest Moscato passito, vinified and bottled (uniquely in Italy) in a single municipality over an area of five hectares. At the company affiliated with the WWF oasis, the tasting of fine wines [GUSTO] includes a visit to the vineyard and the ancient cellar.
