THE HILLS OF GAVI BY E-TRIKE - A TOUR ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE

Imagine walking along sun-kissed ridges, making your way through rows of vines, breathing in the scents of the land and its traditions, with nothing standing in the way of your desire to explore. Welcome to the hills of Gavi, a land of outstanding wines, authentic flavors and breathtaking landscapes, ready to be discovered and enjoyed by everyone.

This tour has been designed to offer a fully accessible experience, created especially for those who love nature and adventure while benefiting from barrier-free solutions. Thanks to the use of e-trikes (stable and intuitive three-wheeled e-bikes, designed to provide maximum safety and comfort), every traveller can enjoy the pleasure of exploring the landscape at their own pace. Whether you have reduced mobility, are travelling with kids, or simply prefer a gentler and more assisted way of getting around, the e-trikes make distances and climbs easier to manage, turning the journey into an enjoyable part of the experience.

Between fortified historic villages, welcoming wineries where you can enjoy local wine tastings, and landscapes that sweep as far as the Alps, this tour offers the chance to discover the Gavi DOCG area independently and safely. A slow sustainable and deeply inclusive journey, where the beauty of the landscape blends with the simple pleasure of feeling free to explore.

We recommend a scenic circular route that is not particularly demanding, with gentle changes in elevation and mainly following paved roads. Departing from the rental centre in Gavi the full route covers 15 km. It is also possible to divide the route into two separate circular routes of around 10 km each. This experience is available in spring, summer and autumn.

The route offers an accessible cycling experience for a wide range of visitors.
The bikes are recumbent e-trikes and can be rented from HOBBY BICI in Via Roma 7 in Gavi.
Bookings are reserved for people with reduced mobility upon presentation of a valid disability card. Reservations are handled by the tour operators who are part of the Alessandria Incoming project and can be made by contacting the following email address: commerciale@viaeperviaggiare.it

A barrier-free experience: Each stop along the route has been selected not only for its outstanding cultural and scenic value, but also for its high level of accessibility, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience with greater independence and comfort. The businesses, restaurants and accommodation providers in the project form a clearly identifiable network of venues committed to inclusion. Where needed, removable ramps are available to facilitate access and help make the experience welcoming and accessible to all.

The tour can be enjoyed independently, with no need to purchase any additional service. A map of the route is attached.
