HIKING IN BOSCO DELLE SORTI

Meet in Cassine with the nature guides for a hike through the Bosco delle Sorti La Communa, a Protected Nature Reserve and Important Regional Natural Site (SIR).
This vast woodland area, which extends between the municipalities of Cassine and Ricaldone, is a unique maze of biodiversity. Its name, linked to the ancient concept of communal ownership ("la communa"), evokes centuries of history during which the local community lived in perfect harmony with the forest.
An experience of pure regeneration for the senses, where the scent of wet earth and the silence of the trees restore the spirit, before returning to the light of the surrounding vineyards.

At the end of the visit, enjoy tasting at a well-known winery to discover the iconic wines of the area.
In the afternoon, visit the Monastic Complex of San Francesco with the Church of San Francesco. The Order of Friars Minor Conventual built this extraordinary temple in exposed brickwork between 1291 and 1327, and it is one of the rarest and most significant examples of Lombard Gothic architecture with Cistercian influences in Piedmont.
