Welcome to Alessandria, an ideal destination for curious travellers who wish to discover its elegant character, thousand-year history and outstanding craftsmanship. The purpose of this tour is to offer an inclusive and accessible cultural experience, free from barriers and designed to be fully enjoyed by all visitors, including people with reduced mobility and those with motor or sensory needs.

Our tour winds through the heart of the city and joins three unforgettable stop-off points, where accessibility meets beauty:

The Borsalino Museum: A fascinating journey through the history of the legendary hat that conquered Hollywood and the world, housed in a beautifully restored former industrial site featuring fully accessible visitor routes.

The Civic Museum – Art Rooms: A treasure trove of centuries-old art, sculpture and local heritage, enhanced by spacious interiors, lifts and visitor facilities designed to welcome people of all ages and abilities.

The Cathedral of Alessandria (Cathedral of Saints Peter and Mark): a landmark of the city’s spiritual heritage, characterized by majestic Neoclassical architecture and by entrances and interior spaces that are largely free of architectural barriers.

A barrier-free experience. Each stop along the route has been selected not only for its outstanding artistic and cultural value, but also for its high level of accessibility, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience with greater independence and comfort. The businesses, restaurants and accommodation providers in the project form a clearly identifiable network of venues committed to inclusion. Where needed, removable ramps are available to facilitate access and help make the experience welcoming and accessible to all.
