Guided tour of Casale Monferrato, the ancient capital of the Marquisate. Walk in the historic centre to discover the Castle of the Paleologi, the Cathedral of Sant'Evasio, the Church of San Domenico and the magnificent Synagogue: built in 1595 it is an extraordinary example of a Piedmontese Baroque synagogue with stucco, gold and precious wooden furniture which contrasts with the external façade which is free from reliefs as imposed by the Albertine Statute. It is considered one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe and it is home to the Museum of Silverware and the Museum of Lights. Stop-off at pastry shop to discover and taste the famous Krumiri biscuits (do you know their story? they are also well-known by the White House). The experience ends with wine tasting at the Regional Wine Shop of Monferrato.
