BETWEEN WILD NATURE AND ART: TREKKING THROUGH THE BADGES AND GOTHIC VIEWS – Val Bormida Experience

A day in nature, along the South Piedmont Walk, between ravines and wild orchids in the Special Area of Conservation for the protection of spontaneously blooming flora. The tour will start from Spigno Monferrato, crossing the medieval bridge over the River Bormida, and then make its way inside the woods of oak, pine and chestnut trees alternated by meadows where the view sweeps over the spectacular ravines, precious witnesses to the evolution of the territory. Final stop-off point will be the picturesque village of Roccaverano with the Church of San Giovanni Battista and its late Gothic frescoes. Along the way, visit to a dairy farm which produces a unique cheese called Robiola Roccaverano DOP.
