ALERAMO DOUBLE TREE AND INFERNOT - BIKE TOUR (feat. THE FOOD AND WINE ROAD OF GRAN MONFERRATO)

An e-bike tour along scenic and quiet roads to become acquainted with the history of Aleramo and the infernot, UNESCO heritage site.
Set off from Grazzano Badoglio and from the Benedictine Abbey founded by Aleramo, founder of the Marquisate of Monferrato and who is buried here. Have you heard about the legend of Aleramo and his heroic ride on a white horse? And then Moncalvo and its Civic Museum, home to precious works by Orsola Maddalena Caccia, but also by Chagall and de Chirico.
Don’t miss out on the double tree of Casorzo, perfect symbiosis of a mulberry tree and a cherry tree. The day is rounded off with a visit to an infernot, UNESCO heritage site, and a picnic in the vineyards in a winery along the Grignolino Road.
