The Council for People in Difficulty CpD, together with Visit Piemonte and the Local Tourist boards have created a brochure of accessible and sustainable tour packages and experiences for Piedmont that respond to the standards of the "Turismabile" project of CpD, which has been up and running in this region for several years.

The City of Alessandria has been inserted into the project and the "Alessandria Incoming" agency (a project of the Local Tourist Board Alexala and the Municipality) with the fundamental support of the Municipality's Inclusive Manager Office have developed this FOR ALL tour package together.

The FOR ALL Cultural Tours and a list of useful services, such as associations, transport services and restaurants which may be of use during their stay, are attached.

day 1
Arrive in Alessandria by own means and overnight in a centrally-located accommodation facility. Free time to explore the city following the suggested tours or visit the selected cultural sites accessible to all.
The package includes admission to the Borsalino Museum, a journey in cinema art and design through the most famous hat in the world. It was created here in 1857 and continues to be a product of skilled craftsmanship.

Followed by an aperitivo in the centre: a fascinating journey to discover the most symbolic wines of the area with the collaboration of the Regional Wine Stores of the province of Alessandria. Thanks to the creativity of the bartender Luigi Barberis, the wines become protagonists of 5 unique cocktails, a modern tale for a welcoming and amazing province.
Dinner at leisure, in one of the For All restaurants and overnight accommodation.

day 2
After breakfast, free time to continue the journey to discover Alessandria with the city tours. Visit the Marengo Museum and the sites of the epic battle fought by the Napoleonic troops on 14 June 1800 or the Monumental Complex of Santa Croce in Bosco Marengo built by Pope Pius V, one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture following the Council of Trent. It is home to precious works including the Vasarian
"Machine".
Before leaving, we recommend a gourmet stop at one of the historical pastry shops to try unique cookies such as the delightful amaretti by Rolando or the baci by Gallina.
