The church is located within the town center, which already existed in 1380, as evidenced by a deed designating the rector. The building's current appearance likely derives from the major renovations of 1770, which likely also included the renovation of the façade. The façade features salient volutes connecting the upper and lower registers, divided into sections by a complex decorative scheme. The central section rises to the summit, capped by a curved gable with a prominently projecting molded cornice. The square-plan bell tower, originally located near the façade, was rebuilt adjacent to the left perimeter wall of the church. It consists of a single section, rising to the bell chamber, decorated with strongly vertical elements. The interior is divided into three naves marked by three bays resting on pillars connected at the top by round arches surmounted by a moderately projecting entablature that runs along the entire length of the nave as well as the presbytery and the apse placed in a raised position at the edge of the latter.
