The "Piani di San Lorenzo" hiking refuge is a charming structure located at 1,101 meters above sea level on the northwestern slope of Mount Giarolo in the Borbera Valley in the municipality of Cantalupo Ligure. The refuge is located in a vast flat area composed of once cultivated terraces, completely surrounded by beautiful beech and fir forests, creating a charming and evocative place that deeply impresses visitors and is easily accessible by a paved road.
