Ponte Nespolo - Lago Bruno

From the ford on the Gorzente (Nespolo Bridge) follow the provinical road for 200 metres, as far as the hairpin bend (507 m) where the trail description board is located; take the trail which runs along the Gorzente torrent and enter the wood.

Go beyond several clearings, from where you can see the torrent which forms small transparent lakes, popular with tourists in the summer season.

Beyond the wooded area is a more open area, characterised by bushes and isolated pine trees; continue on the trail which winds among grassy areas, rocks and banks of the Gorzente, moving in an uncontaminated environment, where nature and silence reign supreme.

Leave the trail on the left for Monte Tobbio and continue until you reach the dam, from the top you can appreciate Lake Bruno (660m), on the border between Piedmont and Liguria; together with Lakes Badana and Lungo, it forms the Lakes of Gorzente, which feed the aqueducts of Genoa.

Cross the territory of the "Capanne di Marcarolo" Park following provincial road SP 165 until km 13,400 and park in the square on the right, just before the ford on the Gorzente.
