66-year-old Roberto Evangelisti is an Italian designer and artist with extensive experience in the fur industry.
His story begins in the same way as many of the best-known Italian signature names, with the role of “shop boy” to learn the art and the craft. From the most basic chores he gathers the opportunity to glance at the nuances and details of the craft of leather treatment, whenever possible. As soon as he turns twenty, he starts his first entrepreneurial experience, working on behalf of third parties for already consolidated firms, and among these the gamble of a career change which will mark his experience and style. The work for big names in haute couture, the tailoring experience for large studios and travelling the world between fashion shows and production, are the DNA of Roberto Evangelisti, hired by Valentino to carry out quality control on international production, abroad. For more than a decade, he has been the designer of the historic "Confezioni Biellesi" brand for the exclusive garments of Clients in the different regional branches.
In 2007, he returns to Casale Monferrato and opens a studio in his name, from where he has been presenting himself to the world since 2019, in the new high-class premises which was one of the most beautiful historic shops of Casale, the Foà jeweler, under the arcades of Piazza Mazzini.
