The first travel agency of the area of Ovada was founded in 1978 by Mirko Mazza and Marianne Bjorksten who were subsequently joined by Gianluigi Ponzano and Livia Mazzera. In the Eighties, Orava Travel became a well-established go-to point for outgoing and incoming tourism for the province of Alessandria. It went on to become a licensed IATA, rail and maritime ticket office. From the mid-1980s, the agency begins to deal with incentive travel for business, a sector which has greatly developed as demonstrated by the countless conferences and events organised by Orava both nationally and internationally. Great experience, knowledge of the market and personalisation of the product, are the strong points of Orava Travel that has celebrated 40 years of business. Today, the company is managed by Kenneth Mazza, Mirko’s son, and maintains its characteristic of professionalism and attention to the needs of the customer keeping abreast with the themes and changes in the market.
