The small medieval village of Denice boasts one of the most original and unique museum collections in Italy. The open-air museum features 63 ceramic works of art, created by 63 highly qualified contemporary Italian and international artists. These are permanently installed on the facades of the houses and on the perimeter wall that retains the embankment on which the medieval watchtower rests.
The museum is open daily, has no fixed hours, and is free of charge. The 63 ceramic works, permanently displayed throughout the village's streets and squares, offer a glimpse into the production and experimental research carried out in recent decades by national and international artists.
To book a guided tour of the open-air museum and other permanent exhibitions, please contact the municipal representatives: Giuseppe Mastorchio 338 1063328 / Maria Antonietta Doglio - Cell 339 7711603
