Located in an ancient Monastery, Mazzetti d'Altavilla is one of the most historical Italian companies in the distillation business. At the top of the hill of Altavilla Monferrato the fresh pomace of noble Piedmont grape varieties are processed to create young, old and reserve grappa, as well as aged Brandy (up to 35 years). The collection includes a vast range of spirits: from gins to after dinner drinks, from bitters to liqueurs, without forgetting liqueur fruit, alcoholic sugar cubes, chocolates with grappa and liqueur and many other treats, available also in gift boxes. The company is open every day for guided tastings and purchases, and the Cafeteria is also operational. Possibility (upon booking at visit.mazzetti.it / tel. 0142 926147 / eventi@mazzetti.it) of guided tours and lunches/dinners at the in-house Restaurant Materia Prima. There is also a space set up for business or recreational events or for ceremonies. Sensory tastings (paired with typical Piedmont foods) and a visit to the Panoramic Tower are possible by reservation.
