La Grangia is an articulated complex of buildings, some of which date back to the 12th century. The majority of the buildings are used for farming purposes or unused.

Here, at La Grangia di Pobietto, rice cultivation dates back to 1123 and earlier Bronze Age artefacts have also been found.
