According to a 19th century transcription of a late 15th century chronicle, a first confraternity of the Pietà would have existed until 1298, and then resumed its activity in 1496. The oratory suffered the damages of the two world wars but it is now consecrated; during the Christmas period it hosts a mechanical nativity scene.
