The construction of the Church del Rosario began at the end of 1632, on the legacy of nobleman Giulio Cesare Salomoni in favor of the Dominican Province of San Pietro Martire. The Dominican community of Pecetto was definitively suppressed in 1789 with the papal bull issued by Pius VI. The assets were sold to private individuals and the church passed to the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary.
