July 31, 1989, when we opened Pasticceria Bottaro & Campora.
Marcello Bottaro and Domenico Campora are the founders.
Both tireless, Marcello continues to work in the laboratory, right above the pastry shop, rolling out the dough every day and passing down his recipes to the younger generation. Domenico prepares cocktails at more or less any time, because, as we all know, it's always the right time for an aperitif. Then there's Marco, who, if you need a party, organizes a reception with all the trimmings; the directors suggest that Villa Bottaro is the perfect place... are they biased? Simone is the other serial caterer, who goes to the pastry shop every morning at 6:00 to bake focaccia and brioche and who always makes you say "wow" when you taste his pastries or a cake. Stefano is Simone's brother, a bartender by vocation, and believe us, he's truly talented. And then there are all our collaborators. So many people have worked with us over these 31 years, some of them behind the scenes preparing everything we do, and others serving you whatever you want at any time.
