Bizaar opens on via Alessandro III in 1978, as a go-to boutique for those in the city in search of major brands such as Armani, Versace, Ferrè and Valentino.
The late Seventies and the following decade are a period of great excitement. In 1986, Maria Bizaar, spin-off store of the one previously opened, opens on corso Roma. It is an original and elegant store. The interior is designed by the Masoni, Carponi and Tasso studio and attracts the interest of a specialist magazine like AD which dedicates an article to it for the choice of furnishings.
It is addressed to young customers attracted by the Stone Island line, which become loyal during that period and move on to the subsequent one which, closed Maria Bizaar, will be opened on via Bergamo 36, the current address since 1990.
Piero Martini and Luisella Atzori are the current owners, who acquired all the shares in the company in 2015.
