Big Bench No. 209, the "Artists' Bench" in Borgoratto, is dedicated to the artists of Borgoratto and draws inspiration primarily from the renowned painter Cino Bozzetti. The view extends from the countryside to Monviso. In the area, reproductions by artists Cino Bozzetti, Ernesto Ferrari, Mario Conzano, and Riccardo Cassola can be viewed. The bench is located along a roughly 3 km circular path of dirt road accessible on foot or by bicycle.

The "Artists' Bench" is one of Chris Bangle's Big Benches, now a symbolic attraction of Piedmont. It is part of the BIG BENCH COMMUNITY PROJECT (BBCP), created to support local communities, tourism, and the artisanal excellence of the towns where these out-of-scale installations are located. BBCP is a nonprofit initiative promoted by the American designer and his wife, Catherine, residents of Clavesana since 2009. The initiative aims to combine the creativity of the Chris Bangle Associates S.r.l. design team with the artisanal excellence of this area of Piedmont.
The Giant Benches are often known through images, but once you sit on one and experience the sensation of enjoying the view as if you were a child again, it's an intense experience worth sharing with others. The benches are designed for relaxation; unlike a chair or armchair, they're large enough to accommodate one or more friends. Sitting on a bench is a pleasant social gesture, and making good use of all the positive energy the Giant Benches emanate is the vision behind the BIG BENCH COMMUNITY PROJECT.
