In 1915, Paolino Sacco opens a silverware shop in Pieve del Cairo, which transferred to the suburb of Valmadonna in 1948, ten years later to via XX Settembre and, since 1991, in its current premises on Via Galimberti 44. Outside the premises of Alessandria, there is a sign displaying all the stores opened from 2000 to date: in Stradella, in the province of Pavia and in piazza Garibaldi, under the arcades of the most beautiful square of Alessandria. We are talking, above all, of the last silverware shop remained in a city which, in recent decades,
was a national benchmark for the industry, with major factories and highly skilled artisans. Today the task of carrying on the silversmithing tradition of Alessandria is left to Antongiulio Sacco (everyone calls him Giulio), managing director of the company, which he manages alongside his wife Stefania Morandi. There are seven employees, and they include the daughter Rachele Cardella, who manages the creative department in the large workshop of via Galimberti
