The old tobacco shop on via Cavour is opened in 1931 by the Grimaldi family. In subsequent years it is managed by the children, before passing on to the daughter-in-law Maria Teresa Panizzardi. The tobacco shop, in recent decades, has been a lounge, in the literal meaning of the term. The current owner, Sergio Tosi – who purchased it from Panizzardi in 1989, has kept it as it was before, continuing to make customers soak up the same atmosphere of those historic years.
