The store started out with Lina Melchionni, who purchased a fifty-meter square warehouse from Michele Pittaluga in 1937, a short distance from the current address in via Migliara. This marks the beginning of a successful business which she shares for a short time with her brother Piero before splitting, while continuing to work for her famous neighbor but, at the same time, continuing in her own shops with commitment and skill. The turning point for Anfossi Moda comes
when her son Romano, following his studies, begins to manage the company directly.
Today, the shop has maintained what has always been its watchword: elegance, in the line of garments and in the relationship which personnel is able to establish with customers.
