This is an age-old product linked to farm production, where the grass of unspoiled meadows infuses its scent into the freshly milked milk. It is produced at one farmhouse in an ancient village of stone houses with the same passion for generations. A product which skilled hands work according to methods learned by generations and which a modern but always family-run laboratory guarantees in terms of hygiene and authenticity. An example of how the mountain, thanks to tradition, passion and determination, can positively respond to the crisis of the rural world which is increasingly
more disrupted

Cascina Moglioni Ecomuseum Meeting Point. Housed in a typical Capanne di Marcarolo farm, the Ecomuseum offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the unique features of local rural settlements, including stables, a barn, a tool shed, a wood-burning oven, dry stone walls, and traditional shingle or pisanin roofs (the former made of chestnut wood, the latter of terracotta). In the farmhouse grounds, visitors can continue their visit, observing the splendid centuries-old chestnut trees, the meadows once mown for hay, the möia (a spring where women washed clothes), and the tree collection of apple, pear, plum, and chestnut trees for the selection of local historical varieties.

NB: Cascina Moglioni Ecomuseum is open Saturdays and Sundays during the spring and summer seasons. Please check when booking.
