HIKING & TREKKING IN THE "CAPANNE DI MARCAROLO" PARK (FEAT. FOOD AND WINE ROAD OF GRAN MONFERRATO)

Established in 1979, its 8,200 hectares stretch from Piedmont to the border with Liguria. From the Lavagnina Lakes to its highest peak, a network of trails winds its way through the park, offering an unparalleled naturalistic experience with breathtaking views stretching all the way to the Ligurian Sea. Inside the park, you will find the Sacrario della Benedicta memorial, commemorating the tragic massacre that took place in 1944, and the Cascina Moglioni Ecomuseum, a valuable testimony to rural life. At the end of the day, visit and tasting at the Strada del Dolcetto winery.

Trekking routes of varying lengths and difficulties can be customised with park rangers and our expert nature guides. Pocket lunch/picnic included.
