Truffle hunting in Monferrato is an experience worth living and telling all year round, as it is possible to enjoy a white truffle and a black truffle themed experience in every season. Everything is true and authentic; nothing is prepared and when the faithful tabui (truffle dog) starts to dig and agitate itself you will realise you are holding your breath and both quiver with happiness. Followed by visit and tasting in winery along the Aromatic Wine Road, the River Road, the Grignolino Road.
In October and November not-to-be-missed regional truffle fairs in the area.

All year, except the months of May and September due to a biological rest period regulated by the Piedmont Regional Authority.

Meet with our expert truffle hunters. Set off for a beautiful walk in the woods: truffle hunting and extraction are now officially inscribed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage to underline the value of this traditional practice and its role for the protection of the environment and biodiversity. Sports clothing recommended (rubber boots are available). Duration of the activity approx. 3 hours.

The activity can be carried out in both Southern and Northern Monferrato (.e.g. Vignale M.to, Rosignano M.to - Serralunga di Crea - Alice Bel Colle - Lerma - Bergamasco- Ricaldone)

The truffles extracted can be purchased at the current market price from the truffle hunter.
Sportswear and hiking/rubber boots are recommended.
