Imagine a path immersed in nature, a slow relaxed pace, and a companion standing next to you with a lovable snout and a curious look: an alpaca, a gentle and fascinating animal with whom to share a regenerating and unique
experience.
The walk with the alpacas is more than a moment of contact with nature; it is also an opportunity to slow down, listen, observe. Walking alongside them helps rediscover your inner balance and good spirits, thanks to their quiet nature and the natural setting that surrounds them.
During the outing, you will discover many curiosities about these animals from the Andes, their character, silent language and the secrets of their daily care. A perfect idea for families, couples, groups of friends or anyone who wants to take a break from stress and rediscover the pleasure of small things. Departing from Sarezzano, an enchanting area in the Tortona hills, an expert guide of the Biopark will welcome guests and after a short explanation of the activity of the dog center and characteristics of the animals which are bred and hosted, set off for a 3 km walk among the woods and hills in the company of Caramello, Torroncino, Oreo, Silver, Liborio, Marcellina and Consuelo, just some of the alpacas
hosted by the park.
The route will be tailored to the needs and age of the participants and cross hills and wooded areas of rare beauty, home to medieval and residential
villages.
At the end of the walk, you will be taken to the greenhouse or to a well-known winery of the area to enjoy a rich complementary aperitivo of local food and wine such as Salame del Giarolo and the Montebore cheese paired with local wines including Barbera, Cortese and Derthona Timorasso.

The price includes:
Walk with alpacas and aperitivo - 3 hours The walks with alpacas take place from March to October. Comfortable clothing, long trousers and closed shoes are recommended. In case of bad weather it will be possible to postpone the experience to another date to be agreed and according to the availability of the organizer. NOTE instead of the aperitivo in a greenhouse/winery, it is possible to pair the walk with a picnic on the grass with a basket filled with local food and wine delicacies of Tortona. There is no age limit, but to walk the alpaca alone it is necessary to be at least 12 years old. Children from 0 to 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. NO charge for children under the age of 5. If it is necessary to use a buggy, use one with large wheels as there are dirt paths and differences in altitude along the way. City buggies with small wheels are not suitable. Wine tasting is reserved to participants older than 18, water and fruit juices will be available for children.
