THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALESSANDRIA AND THE ANIMAL PROTECTION ASSOCIATION PRESENT THE "FOUR-LEGGED PARTY" AT THE "CASCINA ROSA" DOG SHELTER

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, starting at 3:00 PM, the "Cascina Rosa" dog shelter in Alessandria will host its traditional "Four-Legged Party."

The event, organized by the ATA (Animal Protection Association), is open to all residents and aims to promote the presence and respect of animals within the urban environment. During the afternoon, a charity raffle will be held to support the shelter's activities, accompanied by a refreshment stand with desserts and drinks.

Visitors will also be able to purchase association merchandise and preview the new ATA Calendar. 2027, featuring shelter dogs and local cat colonies, photographed alongside Alessandria's most iconic monuments and locations.

The event will take place regardless of weather.

Please note the regular opening hours of the "Cascina Rosa" shelter:

Tuesday and Thursday: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

"The event on Sunday, September 20th will truly be a celebration for our four-legged friends hosted at "Cascina Rosa" and cared for lovingly and with dedication by the volunteers of the ATA (Animal Protection Association), who also manage the Municipal Health Kennel, the Cat Shelter on Viale Teresa Michel, and the Municipal Veterinary Clinic in the Botanical Garden," emphasizes Councilor for Animal Protection Roberta Cazzulo. ATA continues with great determination and passion to care for our animal friends and to make the municipal facilities increasingly welcoming: maintenance work on several shelters is currently being planned. We hope that Sunday's event will be a great one." It also serves as an important showcase for the many dogs, young and old, so they can find a family. My unwavering thanks always go to all the volunteers who care for our four-legged friends and to the citizens who demonstrate their compassion in every way. I remind you that municipal organizations are always looking for new volunteers: all you need is a few hours to spare and a chance to show up.
