20 YEARS OF G.A.S. TORTONA

On Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th, 2026, the Tortona Solidarity Purchasing Group will celebrate twenty years of activity with the event "At the G.A.S. Fair: Eat, Think, Live Sustainable," a weekend dedicated to critical consumption, ecology, and the promotion of local excellence.

Saturday, September 19th Program (Via Emilia):

9:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Market fair with stands of organic producers, local farms, artisans, and exhibitors from local associations committed to sustainability.
11:00 AM: Reading of children's stories focusing on environmental and sustainability issues at the Namasté Bookshop.
From the afternoon: Live musical entertainment by Tortona Blues, with performances by Terraferma Trio and Hot Club Cafè.

Sunday, September 20th Program (La Lucciola Park, Viale Milite Ignoto 1):

10:00 – 12:00: Creative workshop for children dedicated to building landscapes with recycled materials, accompanied by breakfast provided by the G.A.S.
10:00 – 12:00: Ecological walk to clean the paths of the Castle Park, held in collaboration with the Boys and Girls' Council and Environmental Management.
12:30 – 14:00: Lunch open to the public in collaboration with the Fermento Brewery.
14:30 – 16:00: Round table discussion with the participation of Italian GAS to share their history, experiences, and the importance of networking.
16:00 – 17:00: Meeting and presentation of the friendly organizations Cooperativa Valli Unite of Costa Vescovato and Associazione Fuga di Sapori of Alessandria, focusing on organic farming and prison economics.
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Cutting of the cake, provided by G.A.S. Tortona, birthday toast, and DJ set by DJ Duert.
