SONICHOPS - dance innovation to the rhythm of beer

A myriad of sounds were recorded during the production and consumption phases of an internationally renowned craft beer from the Cuneo area: from fermentation—the true "voice" of beer—to cooking, from bottling to packaging, up to the moment of uncorking, pouring, and drinking.

From these sounds and their "hidden rhythms," the composer created twelve mini-compositions, over which dancer Vincenzo Criniti improvises, creating twelve "instantaneous" choreographies, characterized by specific tasks imagined by the choreographer. The dancer's gestures are also tracked by sensors programmed by Cristina Mercuri, which interact in real time, modifying, filtering, and remixing the sounds themselves, metaphorically recalling, once again, both technological trends and the beer production process.

Furthermore, Radic'Arte, in collaboration with Inchiostro Festival, presents the posters of the winning artist of the CHEAP 2025 call in Pasturana.
For two weeks, starting September 27th, the installation spread across the public space of the Municipality of Pasturana will be based on the concept of TRUST UTOPIA, a poster-based public art project that translates utopian visions—from a free Palestine to the collapse of patriarchy and capitalism—into visually striking works. This political and poetic action on the local scene uses graphics, photography, and typography as an exercise in radical imagination and the promise of a possible future.
