On Sunday 12 October traditional chestnut festival in Cartosio.

9 a.m. start of chestnut distribution throughout the day, in association with “Ribotarive”:
- E-bike gathering and tour (approx. 25 km) – 8:45 a.m.
- Walk “I colori del bosco” (approx. 8 km) – 9 a.m.

Noon lunch indoors – takeaway from 11:45 a.m.
Chestnut Menu 2025:
- Leek flan with fondue
- Tajarin pasta with mushrooms, sausage and chestnuts (or meat sauce)
- Chestnut roulade with potatoes
- Soft chocolate and chestnut cake (gluten free)

3 p.m. street food in Piazza

3:30 p.m. 1st Palio del Castagnaro, a challenge for all, participation is free for anyone who wants to have fun. The route is short, but… with a 25-kilo sack of chestnuts on your back it becomes a totally different story. The fastest contestants will receive prizes and glory.

Traditional wooden toys and games of skill will also be present.

Archery and market of local products for the whole day.

The cost of the lunch is €20
