"A SUMMER IN THE CRISTO QUARTER" IS UNDERWAY

See you on Saturday, June 27th, with the new edition of the event that will open the 2026 summer season.

On Saturday, June 27th, the Cristo district of Alessandria will host the new edition of the Notte Bianca, an event that will officially kick off the summer season "A Summer in the Cristo Quarter," the calendar of events that will liven up the southern part of the city until September 11th.

The evening, titled "Everything in One Night!" will transform the neighborhood into the beating heart of the city's entertainment scene, with music, shows, sports, entertainment, and activities for all ages along a pedestrian path approximately 2.5 kilometers long between Via Carlo Alberto, Corso Acqui, Piazza Ceriana, Piazza Zanzi, and Piazzale Unes. Hobbyists, exhibitors, open businesses, and numerous street food stalls will also be present.

The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Alessandria, is the result of a collaborative effort between the Cristo District Activities and Commerce Association, the Alessandria Sud Association, the Lisondria Pro Loco, the Città della Paglia Motorcycle Club, the SOMS (Società di Unione Italiana Sportivi), the Cristo Meeting Center, parishes, schools, and numerous local associations. It also benefits from the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria Foundation and several private sponsors.

Activities will begin in the afternoon at the outdoor gym on Via Campi, where the ASD Calisthenics Alessandria will organize a gathering open to all, designed for both beginners and experts who wish to try their hand at free-body training. This will be followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:00 p.m. and a traveling parade featuring musicians and flag-throwers from the "La Montesina" folk group from Pisa. The evening will feature national artists and guests—including Angelo Famao, Scialpi, Marco Ligabue, Regina, Paps'n'Skar, Banfy, DJ Osso, Nostalgia 90, Gianluca Impastato, and Andrea Agresti—as well as musical tributes to the greatest hits of the '80s, '90s, and 2000s, smooth dance with live orchestra performances and DJ sets, and entertainment by Radio Gold, RVS (Radio Voce Spazio), and DJs Ame, Angelino, Andy, Dado, and Luciano Tirelli.

To make it easier to reach the venue, a free shuttle service will be available from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, departing from Piazza Garibaldi and the train station and heading to Corso Carlo Marx.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Saturday, July 4th.

Deputy Mayor Giovanni Barosini, responsible for Commerce and Territorial Marketing, comments: "The Quartiere Cristo White Night is one of the most anticipated events of the Alessandria summer and confirms the vitality of a neighborhood that, thanks to the collaboration between associations, merchants, volunteers, and institutions, manages to organize highly attractive initiatives every year. These initiatives, on the one hand, offer opportunities for residents and visitors to gather and have fun, and on the other, contribute significantly to the enhancement and promotion of the area. As an Administration, we continue to actively support these events, which strengthen the neighborhood's identity, foster social interaction, and help make Alessandria an increasingly lively, attractive, and dynamic city. We extend our thanks to those who make this possible."

Silvana Cirimele, President of the "Commercianti del Quartiere Cristo" and Alessandro Borgoglio, President of the "Alessandria Sud" Association, stated: "It will be a great event. We've worked on a program that will take us back in time, but above all, it will create an important opportunity for active participation, sharing, and valorization of our local area, leveraging the collaboration of a close-knit local network that is yielding great results."
