Nice To Meet You Two

Two people enter the stage, meeting perhaps for the first time, and shake hands.
The pleasure of meeting a stranger occurs as soon as the two hands meet; contact becomes the switch that makes the immaterial, the fantasy, possible.
Between glances, attitudes, expectations, and thoughts, the game has already begun, suspended in an immeasurable time.
Using memory or imagining the future, they bring something different to the handshake, constantly changing shape... What else can this contact become? A pact? A fight?
A couple's dance!
An emotional wave that oscillates between play, intimacy, conflict, and illusion.
A dance-theater narrative that effortlessly and ironically blurs the roles and barriers between spectators and performers, transporting us, with a simple touch, into the very normal madness of an encounter.
Just enough time for a handshake.

Sara Ariotti and Kyda Pozza

Sara and Kyda are a dance theater duo formed in 2025. Their research is grounded in the irony of time and the attempt to find the most serious way possible to not take themselves so seriously! After dancing together in the urban fusion company DaCru Dance Company, and given their connection and shared artistic visions, they embarked on an exploration of the handshake gesture, resulting in the creation of the duet "Nice To Meet You Two," produced by House of IVONA.
