Do thoughts make noise? Yes. Not just in comics. It's a noise that spreads everywhere, that embraces us and never leaves us alone. A music, a dance, a chaos that becomes the only possible reality. Mumble Mumble transforms this psychic labyrinth into a collective experience. On stage, the body ceases to be a coherent organism. Dance becomes a glitch, a system error: action and word are the symptoms of a mind struggling to translate its internal buzz into a linear narrative. Movement hosts a traffic of thoughts that we didn't choose, but that nevertheless compose us. This isn't an internal monologue; it's an invasion. It's a nervous system trying to become an individual by navigating streams of consciousness, unspeakable desires, and cultural debris, until it gets lost in its own buzz. All that remains is the vertigo of not being enough, of being too many and yet nothing at the same time. An identity that crumbles under excessive traffic, reduced to white noise, a minimal impact, like popcorn that explodes and surrenders to its own lightness.

Giulio Santolini and Lorenza Guerrini

Giulio Santolini is a performer, choreographer, and performing arts teacher. She trained as an actor at the Accademia dello Stabile del Veneto and collaborates as a performer with various national and international companies, including CollettivO CineticO, Enzo Cosimi, Marcos Morau/La Veronal, Sharon Fridman, and Sotterraneo, with which she won two Ubu Awards for best show of the year and for which she choreographed three productions. She debuted in 2024 with her debut work, LE BACCANTI – fare schifo con gloria. She is currently touring with her second production, KAMIKAZE – spero va meglio dal ultimo volta.

Lorenza Guerrini, performer and dramaturg, graduated as an actress from the Scuola del Teatro Metastasio. She attended the drama school led by Marco Baliani and Mario Perrotta. She works with Kanterstrasse (Rete Critica Prize Finalist), Industria Scenica (Inbox Verde Prize), Katia Giuliani, El Conde de Torrefiel, Pierre Debauche, Joris Lacoste, and Sotterraneo (Overload/Ubu Prize 2018, Atlante Linguistico della Pangea, Talk Show, L’angelo della Storia/Ubu Prize 2022). A finalist in the Forever Young Competition with her first authorial project, she is an associated artist with Lenz Rifrazioni (Ubu Prize 2024) and one of the authors selected for the Bestiario Femminile festival. She is a curator and teacher for the companies she collaborates with, hosting meetings and training projects for the communities she meets and for professionals.
