During the market, please note that parking will be prohibited on all white stalls in the square, with forced removal from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.

REGIONAL RECOGNITION

The Casale Monferrato market has been added to the Piedmont Region's list of traditional markets of historical value, which includes fifteen other officially recognized markets.

Active for over 150 years, the Casale Monferrato market originated in the 19th century in Piazza Mazzini, later moving to Piazza Castello. It was mentioned as early as 1872 in a newspaper article proposing its move from Piazza Carlo Alberto, now Piazza Mazzini, to a more suitable and larger location, specifically Piazza Castello.

The bi-weekly market on December 25, 2026 and January 1, 2027 will be brought forward to Thursdays, December 24, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
