Green manure preview

From 10 September 2026 to 21 September 2026

On Thursday, September 10th, at 6:30 pm, the Municipal Cultural Center will inaugurate
"SOVVESCIO," a preview of "Featuring," a collaborative and immersive artistic project conceived by Antonio DeLuca.
The initiative is part of the SOVVESCIO festival.
Just as the traditional agricultural practice of green manure nourishes and enriches the soil
by burying crops, the new SOVVESCIO festival was born with a clear mission: to "turn" current social and digital habits around to fertilize the human fabric.
The project originates from an idea by Fabio Felli, who opened the doors of Cascina Nuova with his family, and from the contributions of Camilla Colombo, Francesco Colombo, Nicolas Cossa, Antonio DeLuca, and Virginia Porciello.
The aim of the event is to generate a new network of contacts and rebuild a
physical community, bringing people back to the authentic origins of sharing.
The beating heart of this edition will be "Featuring," which will feature
several prominent artists, including the renowned pioneer of abstract urban art 108 and Studio Nucleo.
The project, currently underway, will come to life in a highly symbolic and historically charged setting: an abandoned house, once a farmer's home. This space, which is still an integral part of the farmhouse that will host the entire festival, will become a bridge between the rural past and new forms of contemporary artistic expression.
To preview the details of "Featuring" and the full program of the festival, which will take place in October, the organizers have created a presentation exhibition that will combine cultural dissemination and entertainment.
