The calendar of events in the Cortile dell'Annunziata will open on Thursday, June 11th with the meeting "Anxious Parents: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities," featuring Stefano Rossi, a adolescent psychologist, promoted by the Nala Foundation as part of the "Nascere Mamma" project.
Tuesday, June 16th will feature music with "Tortona Blues: Mandolin' Brothers," in collaboration with the La Fenice Association, while on Friday, June 19th, students from the Officine Musicali Paolo Perduca will perform their traditional end-of-year musical recital.
Saturday, June 20th will see the performance of "Battiti – The Energy of the Elements," a musical show organized by Freesound and the Accademia Perosi.
Wednesday, June 24th will feature the screening of the documentary "Between Nature and Altitude. Giovanni Storti Survives the Apuan Alps," produced by the Tortona CAI in collaboration with "Voci dei Boschi."
The blues returns on Thursday, June 25th with "Tortona Blues: Hot Club Café," while on Thursday, July 9th, TDK will perform a concert to benefit the Pandora Tortona Association. On Saturday, July 25th,
the Annunziata program will close with a concert by the Freesound Band, organized in support of the Matteo 25 Association.
A major new feature this summer will be the "Tribute Music Festival" in Piazza Duomo, a series of free evenings dedicated to the greats of Italian and international music, accompanied by food trucks.
It kicks off on Friday, July 10th with the "Vibrazioni Summer Show," followed on Saturday, July 11th by "Asilo," a tribute to Vasco Rossi. Sunday, July 12th will feature "Mengoni Mania," a tribute
to Marco Mengoni, while on Thursday, July 16th, "Radio 88.3" will take the stage with their tribute to 883 and Max Pezzali. On Friday, July 17th, audiences will be able to relive ABBA's hits with the "ABBA Show," while on Saturday, July 18th, the festival will conclude with the "Weekend Mayerling," a huge dance party dedicated to the 1980s and 1990s.
"Baracche d'Estate," the puppet theater festival curated by the Peppino Sarina Association, will also return: on Wednesday, July 8th, in the Cortile dell'Annunziata with "Fagiolino al Mare," on Friday, July 17th, in Vho with "Varietà Prestige," on Friday, July 24th at the
Chalet Castello with "Meneghino and the Castle of Tremarello," and on Thursday, July 30th, back at the Annunziata with "Arlecchino and the Mystery of the Castle."
The traditional dance evenings will also be present: Graziella Group will perform on June 11th, July 29th, and September 3rd at La Lucciola Park, while Lillo Baroni will entertain the audience on June 19th, again at La Lucciola Park, on July 10th at Area Matteotti, and on September 11th, again at La Lucciola Park.
The program will ideally close out one of the most popular events: "Le Notti del Cinema," scheduled from June 30th to July 5th in Piazza Malaspina. For six consecutive evenings, the square will transform into a large open-air arena with free screenings, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the charm of cinema under the stars in the heart of the city.
