The villa is located in the highest part of the historic center, overlooking the ancient Piazza d'Armi. Dating to the 18th century, it has an airy façade with three tiers of overlapping loggias. The exquisite Chinese Room features decorative motifs that testify to the refined taste of the period and its patrons.
Among the family members, Carlo Vidua in particular undertook a series of journeys around the world between the late 18th and early 19th centuries (hence the nickname "Traveling Count"), during which he collected information and objects related to the customs and traditions of various peoples (part of his collection is exhibited at the Casale Monferrato Civic Museum).

This 18th-century patrician villa is characterized by its south elevation, overlooking the small courtyard, featuring a fully loggia, lending an unusual sense of lightness to the complex. Note the beautiful position of the garden, raised above the entrance courtyard. The complex, currently restored and owned by the Municipality, hosts cultural events and initiatives.

Inside, there are elegant rooms decorated in the style of the 18th century, including the refined Chinese Room. The decorations are believed to be the work of Antonio Ivaldi, known as "Il Muto," from Acqui.
