Valdata Tours was founded on 1 July 1976 by Alberto Valdata. The first year the travel agency was located in a small office on Via Trotti, then moved to the current premises on via Pistoia. It is the golden age of the tourism industry and the workload is immediately high. The agency soon has many employees, organizes numerous groups for Sunday and weekly outings, and tours. Individual trips are also in high demand. It also organizes school trips and functions as a passport office, until the introduction of fingerprinting identification.
In recent years interesting new features have been introduced with the creation of themed packages on Alessandria such as Masonic Alessandria, the Pastry Shop Tour, SpiazzaAlessandria referred to the theatrical city tour. Other packages related to the surrounding area, such as Alessandria – Casale or Alessandria – Tortona, are also available. Since 2018, the agency has been managed by Cristina Valdata and Giancarlo Bertola, who had already been working there since 1998.
