Precious and special perfumes to soak up the Alessandria of the past and present. Profumeria Piera, opened in 1979 on via Dante, sets itself apart for originality and quality. Its founder is Pierangela Giacobone, who decides to open her own business after working twenty years as a shop assistant in the historic perfume shops of the city. A typical case of happy family-run business: her son Davide Grassano trains in the shop and has been managing the business with his mother for ten years.
In the last two decades there has been a change of address, enabling Profumeria to withstand major changes in the world of commerce with the ever-stronger presence of large-scale distribution. The premises has never changed. Piera and her son are satisfied with
their position.
This success also depends on the deep knowledge of the tastes and preferences of customers.
The customers are also much more knowledgeable than they were at the end of the 1970s, when Piera founded the shop.
