The first travel agency in Ovada is founded by Mirko Mazza and Marianne Bjorksten in 1978, who were joined by Gianluigi Ponzano and Livia Mazzera. Over the years, Orava Travel establishes itself as the point of reference for outgoing and incoming tourism for the province of Alessandria. It is awarded IATA accreditation and sells rail and ferry tickets. Since the mid-eighties it has been dealing with travel incentives for companies, a sector which has experienced significant growth, proven by the countless national and international conferences and events organized by Orava. Long-standing experience, knowledge of the market and product personalization have been the strong points of Orava Travel, which has celebrated 30 years in business. Today, the company is managed by Kenneth Mazza's son Mirko, and continues to be professional and attentive to the needs of the customer whilst remaining in tune with market issues and changes.
