It was 1927 when Antonio Forlini began to wander around the markets of Alessandria and nearby villages on foot. He spent many years pulling his cart until his son Severino took over the business from his parent in 1936, and managed it until 1985. In 1954, his son Arturo had already helped him in his work as street vendor, specialized in seeds and vegetable plants, which he had begun to learn at the age of 12. Since 2019, the business has been registered in the daughter’s name Angela. Arturo Forlini has turned around the business previously run by his grandfather and then his father. He added plants and flowers (also synthetic) to the seeds. For a decade or so, until 2000, the family also managed a small shop in Corso Acqui, in the Cristo neighborhood. Today, the Forlini stall is still a key figure for the people of Alessandria.
