Renowned for its truffles, Murisengo stands on the cool slopes and is recognizable by the unmistakable profile of its ancient crenellated tower, castle, and parish bell tower.
In the hamlet of Corteranzo, stands the baroque Church of San Luigi Gonzaga, with its curious pagoda shape.
A native of Murisengo was Luigi Lavazza, who in 1895 opened the first Lavazza grocery store in the center of Turin, founding the eponymous company that is now a leading truffle producer.
The village is famous for the "Trifola d'Or" National Truffle Fair, held in November.
The Superga-Vezzolano-Crea route runs through the municipality, leading to the Sacro Monte di Crea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
