Simple Love

Simple Love aims to be a hymn to lost love. It is a fragile tale with a delicate celebratory intent. Gestures, used in a sacred way and interpreted as a ritual, will replace the verb to tell their story through bodies that unfold, confront, await, and observe each other. It is a stark canvas of feelings and emotions; a vortex, a challenge of balance and compromise to be found, visually with the body, conceptually with the heart and mind. Honesty forms the backdrop to a work that triggers moments of silence, tension, glances, and memories. It will be necessary to find inner peace, a moment where space and time stop and bestow a love free of superstructures and toxic connotations. A simple love capable of recognizing and accepting the state of nostalgia in human fragility. Concept and choreography by Roberta Ferrara

Equal to Men
The eternal myth of warrior women astride fiery horses, bow in hand, muscular legs in the storm, fierce gazes on their delicate faces. Beautiful, young, determined, ready to defend their independence with sword blows or arrow shots.

The archetype of the Amazon, a warrior in no way inferior to men, also aims to reflect on contemporary society and the role of women; Homer defined them as "equal to men," and this, in patriarchal Greek society, was a sign of respect.

Equilibrio Dinamico

Equilibrio Dinamico was founded in 2011 by Roberta Ferrara, the company's current artistic director and resident choreographer. She is supported by Vincenzo Losito, general director and production manager.

Since 2021, the company has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture, the Puglia Region, and the Municipality of Bari as a Dance Production Organization, recognitions that confirm its identity, vision, and structural solidity.

From the beginning, Roberta Ferrara has worked to build a contemporary repertoire company with an international reach, engaging various choreographers to create new works. Today, the company has its permanent headquarters in the city of Bari, in southern Italy: a space with a European feel, equipped with studios dedicated to research and creation and a study area with an in-house library and video library.
